Charging the Battery

Make sure the Duraneb 3000 is Off. Then connect the plug to the Duraneb 3000 from the AC Adapter. Then Plug the AC Adapter into a wall outlet or a surge protector outlet.

Notice the green light on the AC Adapter. It is always green when plugged into a wall outlet or surge protector.  If you plug the AC Adapter into the wall and the light does not glow then it needs to be replaced.

The DURA-NEB 3000 battery may be recharged using any 120 Volts AC Wall Outlet Figure A-1 or (240 Volts AC Wall Outlet Figure A-3) . Make sure the compressor is turned off. Plug the small round end of the adapter into the socket on the front panel marked "Power Input". Plug the other end of the charger adapter into the Wall Outlet. If using a wall outlet, make sure it not being shared by another power consuming appliance. To ensure the battery receives a complete charge, recharge unit overnight. Recharging may take up to 8 hours, depending on the current charge level of the battery. The optimum care for the battery is to recharge it every day or night.    "If you are using the DURA-NEB 3000 portable compressor, leave the unit plugged in and charging the battery when you are not using it. This prolongs the life of the battery and gives you a full charge".

PETS LOVE TO CHEW ON THE ELECTRICAL CORD.

PET OWNERS:  PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG AWAY FROM THE MULTIVOLTAGE CHARGER.  PETS LOVE TO CHEW ON THE ELECTRICAL CORD. I RECOMMEND USING AN OUTLET ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER AWAY FROM YOUR PET OR A SURGE POWER STRIP.

SURGE POWER STRIP

I RECOMMEND USING A $10 SURGE POWER STRIP THAT PROTECTS SMALL HOUSEHOLD ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTERS.

The DURA-NEB 3000 battery may be recharged using a 12 Volts DC Vehicle Outlet.
The DURA-NEB 3000 battery may be recharged using a 12 Volts DC Vehicle Outlet Cigarette Lighter. Make sure the compressor is turned off. Plug the small round end of the adapter into the socket on the front panel marked "Power Input". Plug the other end of the charger adapter into the Vehicle Cigarette Lighter. If using a Vehicle Cigarette Lighter to recharge the battery, the Vehicle Must be Running in Order to Recharge the Battery.

INTERNAL BATTERY CARE

Your battery is a gel, suspended cell battery, which does not require you to drain it completely before recharging. The battery will last the longest if you can recharge the unit after every treatment. The more you recharge the battery, the longer it will last. When the battery is new, the DURA-NEB 3000 will deliver up to 18 treatments when nebulizing 2.5 mls of medication using a PARI LC Jet Plus Nebulizer. As time goes by, the battery capacity will diminish. The life of the battery is affected by how often you recharge it and how long you wait before recharging. The optimum care for the battery is to recharge it every day or night.
