STEP BY STEP FACTORY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove blue trim surrounding the
face plate of the compressor. Do not use any glue when you put the blue trim back on.
2. Just remove the label around the
screw. Use an exacto knife cut a 3/8 " diameter circle. The nylon screw is located
under the label in the center about 1 1/2 inches from the top. You can also remove the
large label (charge instructions).
3. Remove nylon screw.
4. Chassis assembly will side out
of the compressor housing.
5. Tap case on hard surface to get
battery to slide out of case.
6. Place the new battery next to
the old battery. Write down the color of the wire to each terminal. Carefully swap (one wire at a time) wires from the
old battery to new one,
VIOLET wire is positive +
and
BLACK wire is negative - .
TURN THE UNIT ON TO SEE IF IT
WORKS!!
If battery is connected with wrong
polarity the circuit card will be damaged.
7. Reassemble in reverse order.
Duraneb 2000 Older Models Single Red Light with Blue
Gasket We Sold before 1995.
I have detailed instructions on the
installation of the battery for the older 1994 model Duraneb 2000. Since the motor and
battery have to be moved to different positions, I recommend only the mechanically
inclined try this battery installation.
Duraneb 2000 with single red light.
Older Models 1994
1. Remove blue trim surrounding the
face plate of the compressor.
2. Remove nylon screw from side of
compressor.
3. Chassis assembly will slide Out
of compressor housing.
4. Disconnect battery leads
RED wire is positive +
and
BLACK wire is negative - .
5. Pry old battery from aluminum
chassis assembly with a flat screwdriver.
6. Loosen motor pump assembly from
chassis (foam or screws).
7. Align new battery with back edge
of chassis with the leads facing up. Battery must not hang over back edge of chassis!
8. Carefully reattach motor pump
assembly to aluminum chassis. (Motor pump must be fit into space between battery and
circuit card.
9. Reattach battery leads to
battery.
RED wire is positive +
and
BLACK wire is negative -.
TURN THE UNIT ON TO SEE IF IT
WORKS!!
Do not reverse polarity circuit
card will be damaged.
10. Reassemble in reverse order.
